Reviews for Holiday by ATRIA Properties

Monarch Estates

"This is a very nice facility. Seems there is plenty to keep the residents busy during the day. The food is good as is the company."

Rocky Ridge

"I have visited Rocky Ridge and found it to be very large. When I walked in, I felt like I was in a big hotel, but it wasn’t what I was looking for. I feel like it’s so big and spread out. They were not able to provide the level of care that I needed. They were very polite and very professional but asked for a very large fee upfront in order to move the resident there."

University Oaks

"University Oaks were very professional and friendly. We had lunch in their regular dining room for the residents, and it was all very good. They showed us a 1-bedroom, and it was just smaller than I think that we would want to live in. It didn’t have a kitchenette, and I like to cook; even though the meals are served, I still like to cook. The service was very good, and the food was delicious. It is one big building and looked well-kept. They allowed pets, and you have places to walk your pets."

Eastdale Estates

"Our experience here has been very good. The staff always speak kind words when passing by and seem to really care for the people who live here. There are activities available for those who chose to do so. Three meals are prepared daily. Rooms are cleaned weekly. Of course with the Pandemic, things are different as residents are pretty much to their rooms. I am very pleased how strict the policies are with reference to mandatory masks and procedures required before entering the building. My mother feels safe here and I am happy knowing that she is happy being here."

Westgate Village Glendale, AZ

"Westgate Village's employees are very friendly. The place is very clean and professional. It was very nice, and they were popping popcorn when I was there so it smelled good in the air. It's just beautiful and very good. Everything that I saw that I wanted to do, they had. They have a game room, movies, a gym, spa, a hair salon, and transportation, which is a big thing for me."

Vista Del Rio

"Vista del Rio is an independent living place that is with the Holiday properties. I like this place very much. They were very attentive, and the people seemed quite happy. They provided us snacks before our appointment. My daughter did sit down and play the piano for them, and they were quite happy about that. They seem to be very nice. The problem I have is trying to find an inexpensive one. They invited us to stay for dinner, and it was quite nice. At the time that my daughter and I were over there, they had a schedule of activities up on the bulletin board, and they seem to be quite active. They have cards, and they have entertainment. I don't have anything bad to say about them because they are all very nice."

Madison Meadows

"Madison Meadows was a very nice place, clean, and well-kept. However, just by looking around, I didn't feel as if it was the place for me. They have a tremendous program of everyday activities, but I didn't see a lot going on when I was there. I saw a lot of card and board games, handcrafts. I was looking for more active activities. You have like a suite where you have just a bedroom and a small living area. You have large facilities. It seemed like a very pleasant dining environment, and they gave me a pecan pie. That was delicious."

Vista De La Montana

"The rooms that we saw at Vista de la Montana were very nice. We saw furnished rooms, so they were well-appointed and had plenty of room. The gentleman who showed us around was very accommodating and he showed us things that we hadn't even thought of. My daughter took the outside tour with him because I don't walk too well, and she said it was very nice. I think their price was good. We were seated for lunch, which was very nice, and then the waiter asked if we would like a small or large dinner or however they worded it. We had the small version and it was more than enough; it was well-cooked and very tasty. We were told about what their activities were within the place. Financially, I would not consider this place for myself, but I would recommend it to others. I liked the roominess. I didn't feel cramped in the dining room and it was a fairly large room with a lot of people in it. They had a television room -- or maybe it was a movie room -- which was set up like a small theater and it was nice. I think they had another place where you could play cards or games or something, and then they had some refreshments that would be available to people using that place."

Desert Rose

"Desert Rose was very good, and my mom liked it. The staff was good too, and there’s lots of rooms. The price was reasonable, location was very convenient, and the people were very nice. Security looked reasonable. Mom tasted the food, and it was good."

South Wind Heights

"It has been a pleasure to live here post retirement. Although pandemic has limits, my life is still keep safe through restrictions for which I am very glad! I am glad we get meals brought to our room during pandemic. We (unlike others in home/apartments) don't worry about food. Excellent meals and snacks, have nursing care here. Received flu shot!"
