Ambrosia House Welcome to Ambrosia House – A Groom Senior Living Ambrosia is a 7 bedroom home with three full bathrooms that are all handicap accessible. Ambrosia is also licensed by DADS and certified as an Alzheimer unit. The home has a fenced in backyard with a great swimming pool. The pool is secured by an additional rod iron fence to protect the safety of our residents. The pool is enjoyed by residents' family and staff on special occasions. While it is not a requirement to live in one of our locations At Groom Senior Living Inc. we are certified in Alzheimers and Dementia care. Groom can offer care for those with very significant needs as well as provide care for those exhibiting extremely aggressive behavior. The staff members at Groom Senior Living Inc. are licensed Certified Nursing Assistants and Assisted Living Mangers (LTCE 124 Certified). Our staff has an average experience level of 15 years in caring for those associated with Alzheimers, Dementia, Picks and Parkinson's disease. Our commitment is to successfully implement an interdisciplinary team approach to formulate goals and interventions for our residents and families, resulting in a high quality of life. Our focus is not only taking care of the resident with the highest quality of care; we are also committed to maintaining an open door of communication with the families of our residents, providing them with a very unique and stress free care plan for the family. Groom Senior Living also operates a charity called Groom Outreach, in an effort to give back to the community which has been so good to us. The Groom Outreach was created by members of the senior care community to collect donations of and provide medical equipment to less fortunate people at no cost. Our company collects, stores and distributes the donated items at no cost to the recipients or the community. We are blessed every day and have a desire to pass some of our blessings on to those in need.
