Home care is an increasingly popular choice for care because it enables individuals to remain in their familiar environment while providing a helpful hand to family caregivers. Our home-care staff focuses on care progressively, as an individuals needs change. Home care typically refers to non-medical services that assist individuals with activities of daily living. Services provided by our home care team: Housekeeping Help with laundry Shopping Meal preparation Driving to appointments Bathing Dressing Grooming Oral Hygiene Toileting Mobility Issues Incontinence Care Companionship Medication reminders Services are regulated and licensed by the state and the services fall into three different categories. Registered Nurses/Licensed Practical Nurses: provide total nursing care and coordinate treatment prescribed by a physician. Personal Care Assistants: help with bathing, toileting, mobility, incontinence care, oral hygiene, feeding, special diet and meal preparation and medication reminders. Companion/Sitters: assist in every day activities such as meal preparation, light housekeeping transportation to appointments.
