Clarendon Senior Living - The Farralone House Clarendon Assisted Living is designed for residents who are sixty years of age or older. A group of four board and care homes, accommodating six residents each, comprise our senior community on quiet residential streets in both the Woodland Hills and Lake Balboa areas of the San Fernando Valley. Residents at Clarendon experience a lifestyle that replicates their own – living in a real home rather than a large hotel like setting, as a member of an extended family. The goal of our communities is to provide a nurturing, comfortable and safe environment where the love, care and attention to our residents is second to none. We know each resident by name, not just room number, and tailor our services to each individual’s needs. This is our highest priority. We understand that choosing a senior home is a monumental decision, both practically and emotionally. We are here to help you and your loved ones navigate this process. At Clarendon Assisted Living, our residents are treated like family, and receive truly loving care. It is this principle that guides us every day and that, for nearly 20 years, has earned us a sterling reputation serving seniors and others in need of care. Our services are unparalleled, thanks to a heartfelt commitment to provide a senior living environment that is as enriched as possible. Our philosophy of resident care goes beyond basic needs. Rather, we care for the whole person, providing the highest level of care and monitoring; being up-to-date on each resident’s medical condition; acting as involved, proactive advocates; and providing a mentally, physically, and emotionally stimulating environment where all of our residents thrive. What Makes Us Special At Clarendon Senior Assisted Living, we offer awake night staffing options at a fraction of what you would pay with an in-home care agency. We can incorporate this into our existing staffing structure in order to make it easier on the residents and their families. Here at Clarendon Assisted Living, we like to say that we do not only care for our residents, but for our residents’ families as well.

Tips for Evaluating Your Options
Safety is a primary concern when seniors and their families look for Seniorsite Living. To ensure that a community meets your needs and expectations, we recommend that seniors and family members:
Tour the location:
Touring allows you to speak to current residents and staff, and helps you confirm the accuracy of the community description and photos. Use our touring checklist to help guide your visit.
Confirm the availability of required services:
Before you commit, make sure that the community offers all the services your senior needs, and that those services can be provided within your budget.
Know the California regulations for living type:
Each state has its own laws and inspections processes to ensure seniors reside in a safe environment. Depending on your state, you may even be able to look up inspection reports for the community(ies) you're considering.
