We are an agency that emerged out of powerful personal experiences. Margaret Harvey Granitto, a registered nurse for over 30 years, managed the home care of her mother, an undertaking that she knew she couldn’t do alone. So with the aid of extraordinary caregivers, Ms. Granitto’s mom was able to stay at home and enjoy familiar surroundings—feeding the songbirds and enjoying her gardens—with her family. Kathleen McChesney, an attorney and an active community volunteer, also experienced the wonderful and loving challenge of older family members living at home, including her maternal grandfather and own mother. Ms. McChesney and her siblings, along with amazing in-home nurses, cared for their mother at home, allowing her to continue to take in her cherished Chesapeake Bay views and rambunctious visits from grandchildren. Extraordinary loving care is our goal at Four Seasons. Historically, families cared for aging parents and older relatives. Neighbors pitched in, too, and helped neighbors. But in todays' world, that is not always possible. So, we started Four Seasons. We want to continue the tradition of community based living and home care. We are hands-on. We will never be far away. We provide home care services for members of your family in 6 through 24 hour increments. They might be living with you, or they may have chosen to stay in their homes. So with our combination of professionalism and compassion, we will help your loved ones with their activities of daily living. Four Seasons will help your loved one with personal hygiene, getting dressed, getting to the market, keeping the house clean, accompanying them to doctor visits, doing the laundry, engaging them in lively conversation and all the other things that create a good life.
