Golden Age Assisted Living Home Welcome to Golden Age Assisted Living A solution for seniors who need help with daily activities such as bathing, dressing and medication management, commonly referred to as Activities of Daily Living (ADL). We focus on wellness and keeping residents as independent as possible by providing individually tailored assistance plans. Our residents will enjoy beautifully appointed living spaces, delicious meals, engaging social activities, transportation, housekeeping, and other forms of personalized assistance and care. Licensed for 7 residents, charmingly furnished, Golden Age Assited Living Home has five bedrooms, a dynamic sitting area and family room that is light and bright, a beautiful dining area, and entertainment room. Everything is designed for our residents’ enjoyment, comfort and safety. Skilled staff, 24 hours a day, consists of a facility manager and state certified caregivers. The entire staff has a single and very important mission; to be committed to serving our clients and friends each and every day. Dementia/Alzheimer’s Care We understand the special needs of people with Alzheimer’s Disease and other cognitive impairments. Offering a fresh approach we acquire an understanding of the stories and details of a resident’s life so we can help him or her attain what we call “pleasant days.” This means finding ways to involve residents in everyday activities they enjoy and at which they can feel successful, all in specially designed surroundings that are both safe and stimulating. Hospice Care Hospice is a concept of caring that provides comfort and support for those who are terminally ill with a life expectation of six months or less. We work with a reputable list of hospice agencies of your choice. Our staff is knowledgeable and trained to care for hospice residents. Golden Age Assited Living Home fees include personalized care, all meals, full laundry service, premium cable service in each room, activities, internet access, entertainment and more. Items such as incontinence supplies and the medications are not included in this fee. However, coordination of purchasing and billing these items are provided as a courtesy by our on-site Facility Manager. Complete cleaning service is provided weekly. Laundry service and housekeeping is performed daily. Our meals are prepared fresh daily with your special requests or health requirements in mind by our kitchen staff. A new and diverse menu is created weekly for our resident’s enjoyment. Family recipes and suggestions are always welcome. Aside from our delicious home cooked meals, our Snack Center is stocked with refreshments for residents.
