Grand Traverse Pavilions Is this your business? The Pavilions is owned by Grand Traverse County and operated by the Grand Traverse County Department of Human Services Board, and committed to enhancing the quality of life for aging adults and caregivers. The Administrator/CEO is Korvyn R. Hansen. Home to more than 300 residents and more than 400 employees, the 28 acre campus is rooted in a rich history that dates back to the early 20th Century. The unique architecture emulates 19th Century buildings on site, intricately balancing state-of-the-art accommodations with modern amenities. Fiscally self-sufficient for nearly two decades, Grand Traverse Pavilions provided more than $3 million last year in benevolent care to members of our community.

Tips for Evaluating Your Options
Safety is a primary concern when seniors and their families look for Seniorsite Living. To ensure that a community meets your needs and expectations, we recommend that seniors and family members:
Tour the location:Â
Touring allows you to speak to current residents and staff, and helps you confirm the accuracy of the community description and photos. Use our touring checklist to help guide your visit.
Confirm the availability of required services:Â
Before you commit, make sure that the community offers all the services your senior needs, and that those services can be provided within your budget.
Know the California regulations for living type:Â
Each state has its own laws and inspections processes to ensure seniors reside in a safe environment. Depending on your state, you may even be able to look up inspection reports for the community(ies) you're considering.
