My name is Bob Kreek and I am the Director and Owner of the Yonkers/Scarsdale office of Griswold Home Care. I am also a Certified Senior Advisor (CSA) ®. Referring quality caregivers to our community is my highest priority. We understand the importance to you of staying in your home and our services are intended to keep you comfortable, safe and contented in your home. (We use our CarePairing System to ensure compatibility.) Many of my life experiences have led me toward an appreciation of the importance of first class quality care. During my mother's dementia, I came to fully understand just how important caregiving is because of the positive impact it had on both my mother and me. I also serve as a member of the Board of Directors for the Youth Shelter Program of Westchester, providing emotional and intellectual care and support services to troubled young men. Listening and compassion go a long way toward easing burdens. While an Officer in United States Navy and as the Executive Director of the USO of Metropolitan New York, I dealt with issues of fear and vulnerability every day. These feelings are overwhelming but can be eased. Our office accepts caregivers only after they meet the most rigorous standards as set forth in our CareAssure Screening System. We spend hours of face-to-face time exploring their ability to meet our requirements for home care and elder care. You can expect that the caregivers recommended by the Yonkers/Scarsdale office to be the best in the business. We only refer 5% of caregiver applicants to you and your loved ones. I live and work in Bronxville and I am available to visit you or your loved ones anywhere in Lower Westchester within hours of your call.
