We are Pasadena and the Greater San Gabriel Valley's first-rate provider of in-home care and assistance with the mission to provide the highest level of quality and compassionate care that one would want for a loved one. Our focus is on our community and serving it with a level of pride all our own. We are a true family run business, developed from the ground up by husband and wife team, Ben and Kelly Mishico. We are not a franchise or referral agency. With our mission in mind, we focus on selecting the highest quality caregivers who meet or exceed our high expectations. Not only must they have verifiable care giving experience with positive referrals, they must also pass a basic medical knowledge test as well as an in-depth personality test, that can identify risky behavior traits. This is in addition to the other standard health and safety requirements. As a Registered Nurse, Kelly is able to perform the initial in-home assessment as well as periodic checks for client satisfaction and quality assurance. She is also a first line resource for questions and concerns that client's and their families may have. We encourage open lines of communication, always. We offer a full range of services including: Assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADL's): We can provide assistance with ADL's such as bathing, grooming, toileting, and dressing. Medication Reminders: Although, our caregivers cannot dispense medications they are able to provide gentle reminders for taking medications on the prescribed schedules, as well as watch for any adverse side effects. Light housekeeping/Homemaking: Also known as tidying up around the house, grocery shopping or laundry. We can also prepare meals and snacks, personalized to the client's taste and within their health guidelines. Social activities/Companion Care: We can help maintain and improve on the senior's quality of life by encouraging the social activities they enjoy. This includes movies, shopping, attending social club meetings, and assistance in writing to or emailing friends and family. Getting someone out and about not only can improve the feeling of well being but also provide some physical activity. Incidental services: Transportation to/from various appointments, such as a doctor's office or for simple errands to the bank, post office, or library.
