Jamie's Home Care Services LLC Sitter Services We know the challenges that a family faces when a loved one is in the hospital, particularly if that individual needs constant observation and care. You want to be there every minute, but it’s just not possible. That’s why Jamie’s Home Care Services offers a hospital sitter services. Our professional and trustworthy caregivers are available to sit with you or your loved one in hospitals/medical facilities, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and residences for as long as necessary. Our staff will help the client remain calm and safe by supporting their needs as they cope with limitations such as poor eyesight, hearing loss or cognitive decline. We will assist with personal care, encourage feedings and proper hydration, take notes during medical staff visits and relay that information to the family, as well as keeping the family informed of the clients status and alerting them should a problem arise. Our sitter services also include: Supporting patient’s comfort level Assisting with meals and feeding Providing companionship and conversation Seeking assistance from the hospital/facility nurse when patient is in need Monitoring patient activity (i.e. ensuring patient stays in bed, IVs remain in place, etc.) Supervising patient through the night, ensuring family members that their loved one is safe when they are unable to be there Entertaining (games, crafts, reading, etc.) Call us for more information
