Parkview Manor was founded to provide a way for seniors to lead happy, self-directed lives in a supporting community, one that offers good value and has been designed from the ground up to be sensitive to senior living. To help shape our communities, we at Parkview Manor have been guided by leading industry experts in the fields of gerontology, architecture, hospitality, dining, and assisted living for seniors. We have also used input from seniors and their families as a blueprint for our communities and program development. Parkview Manor offers a home-like living experience for seniors. Our facility has 12 independent living units with private full rest rooms, free high speed internet access, all meals and snacks, and many other modern amenities. Our unique floor plan provides convenience for each resident with the common areas right outside their private door. This allows minimal distance to Living Room / Great Room, Front Porch, and Dining Room. This environment provides each client the opportunity to know the people around them and enjoy being in a safe and secure place, day and night. We promote client independence, but because of our small community size, we can assist with activities of daily living (ADL) without charging the client additional fees. Help with ADL's can involve bathing, transferring, meals, medication reminders, continence assistance and many other assisted living services. This allows for a set (Fixed) monthly fee based on the individualized needs of each client. We also offer transportation services (fully insured) for our Residents (with Family Approval) when they need to go to the doctor, pharmacy, beauty salon, or other locations within the surrounding area. We feel transportation is an integral part of keeping the Residents enriched, happy, and content so they can continue to get their specific needs met.
