Renaissance Home Emmaus Renaissance Home Emmaus is conveniently located in the heart of downtown, close to the historic Emmaus theater, banks, and shopping centers. A quaint community of 12,000, Emmaus is nestled on the northern slope of South Mountain, just 50 miles north of Philadelphia and 20 miles west of the Delaware River. Our Emmaus campus has a long history of caring. In 1908 this historic Victorian home was built by the Mann Family to take in and care for the elderly of the Emmaus community. Renaissance Homes is proud to continue this tradition of caring because caring for our residents is in the heart of what we do. Drink your morning coffee on our cozy and bright enclosed sun porch, while watching and enjoying the sweet sounds of nature, or just enjoy the quiet solitude of working on a puzzle. Admire the Victorian charm and craftsmanship of this century-old building. Participate in our weekly book club, scrapbook, or watch a stained glass demonstration by a local artisan. From active independent and personal care to our short-term respite care, we provide each resident personalized service, attention to detail and assistance needed to maintain your autonomy, independence and thrive. Independent Living Studios, as well as 1 & 2 bedroom apartments, are available for residents wishing to live independently without the hassles of mowing your grass, shoveling snow and putting out the garbage. Live within a safe community where light housekeeping, utilities, and maintenance are included. Medical and rehabilitation staff are available onsite in some communities for your healthcare needs. Daily responsibilities like cooking, cleaning, and transportation are taken care of, allowing time for social events and leisure. Live on your own and have the benefits of an RSH enrichment community. Personal Care Our compassionate and dedicated staff will start by working with you and your loved one to create a care plan tailored to your specific needs, acknowledging your preferences, and adjusting to any changes - a plan designed to help you remain as independent as possible in a safe, secure home of your own. Because our goal is to maximize our residents’ health and happiness, our entire team is flexible and happily go above and beyond to exceed expectations. Personal Care Aides provide assistance with bathing, dressing, and laundry while a trained medication technician administers prescribed medication on a daily basis. Activities are provided seven days per week. Medical appointments, salon services, and religious services are held on a weekly basis. In addition, eye exams, dental care, and mental health services are provided on-site and are available on an as-needed basis.
