Senior Helpers Since Senior Helpers is locally owned and operated, we strive to provide personal and yet professional care to senior adults. Having come from twenty-five years of pastoral care ministry and having parents for whom we have on-going care responsibilities, we understand the concerns of both the senior adult and his or her family. It is our desire to come along side and help families to care for the needs of their loved ones and help the Senior Adult remain in their home as long as possible and to help prevent premature institutionalization. We offer a comprehensive list of nonmedical services, providing housekeeping services, personal grooming care, companionship, meal planning and preparation, transportation to appointments and medication reminders along with ambulatory assistance and assistance in other activities of daily living. Knowing how very important it is to you when someone comes into your home or the home of your loved one, we give special attention in selecting our caregivers. They are our employees and not contract workers. Our caregivers are fully bonded and insured in order to greatly reduce any liability to you. Our caregivers have at least two years experience and many are Certified Nursing Assistants. Our CNAs are especially qualified in assisting in personal care”bathing, dressing, etc. Many of our Caregivers have a special love and concern for those Seniors who have developed dementia or Alzheimer's. Following a free assessment of the client we create a personalized care plan that is followed by the Caregiver. We also have an RN on staff who is available to give an assessment and oversee the care plan for those who are in need of more personal care. Whether we provide care three hours a day or 24/7 it is our desire to treat each client like we would like to have one of our parents or grandparents cared for.
