Our apartments are offered on a rental basis. The monthly fee covers a full range of services and amenities, including three meals served in our elegant dining room, snacks, daily housekeeping including linen & personal laundry service. Our recreational and cultural programs are designed to engage and entertain; whether it is a performance in our Performing Arts Center or enjoying a movie (classic and foreign) in our Cinema. Our apartments include studios, one-bedroom and two-bedroom/two bath suites; with designated parking areas for residents’ cars. Our transportation service enables residents to continue established connections and relationships in the surrounding community. Residents in need of additional assistance with activities of daily living or medication management can take advantage of our customized care packages designed to accommodate changing needs. Our Director of Health Services (RN, MSN) reviews each resident’s care needs prior to admission and customizes a care plan based on those needs. Our Keepsake Memory Care Program is designed to enhance the lives of people with memory impairment; Located in a separate wing, with a beautiful outdoor garden, Keepsake caters to residents with Alzheimer’s and other related disorders; our program includes support for and inclusion of, families and caregivers. The Ambassador is licensed by New York State, Department of Health as an ALR (Assisted Living Residence) with two certifications allowing our residents to access services should their needs change, but remain in their home at The Ambassador. Many LTC Polices are eligible for reimbursement under our licensure. We provide hospitality services for independent seniors and assistance for those who need it.
