The Good Samaritan Society – Communities of Brainerd and Pine River offers 10 distinctive types of housing, all with access to our home health care agency and a continuum of care- we will ensure your personal care and comfort are top priorities now…and in the future.At our Good Samaritan Village Woodland Campus, only a few blocks from our Bethany Campus, we have a newly constructed house Birchwood. Our purpose is to provide 24 hour personalized support services and health care designed to respond to the individual needs of those who require help in activities of daily living with a focus on non-complex medical care. But, do not need the skilled nursing care provided in a nursing home. This house fills the niche for seniors living in an alternate housing with services building that need on site 24 hour supervision and care. Birchwood is made up of 16 private rooms with their own bath. Families and residents alike will enjoy this home setting that features a beautiful sun porch for morning coffee and family gatherings, a spacious living room for relaxing, and a family style dining room that is where you will find a center of activity!
