HCI ExtraCare Services Formerly known as Hospice of Central Iowa, HCI Care Services is a not-for-profit, independent healthcare organization, which brings comfort and supportive care to individuals and their families. Serving families since 1978, we have a long history of providing compassionate comfort care to those with chronic or serious illnesses. We can be there for you, too. HCI ExtraCare Services supports individuals' efforts to continue living at their current place of residence by offering expertise ranging from one hour to 24-hour assistance. We offer you the flexibility to have the amount of extra care you want that works best with your lifestyle and your schedule. Certified home health aides, licensed practical nurses, registered nurses and trained companions offer individuals and family caregivers additional help in the home. Examples of support HCI ExtraCare Services can provide include assistance with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, laundry, light housekeeping, chronic disease case management and additional skilled services.
