The community is situated in a school building that was constructed in 1921 and was beautifully renovated to comprise 84 spacious assisted living apartments and 27 independent living apartments. Heritage at Clara Barton has a wealth of amenities, such as a billiards room, bistro, cinema, huge activities room and a country store that is run by the residents. The facility also features restaurant-style dining run by an Executive Chief, who is also a Certified Dietary Manager which makes the dining experience a pleasure for all residents.
