HomeWell Care Services provides non-medical home care to individuals in the comfort of their own residences on an hourly basis, up to twenty-four hours per day. Services - Companionship Care, Personal Care, Specialty Care: homemaking, meal preparation, light housekeeping, medication reminders, errands, transportation, bathing, dressing, transferring, Alzheimer's and other dementia care, life enrichment activities programming. Our commitment is to provide highest quality caregivers and to foster a client-caregiver bond that is mutually enriching. Our caregivers ensure safety and comfort while seeking to stimulate our clients through activities that improve their quality of life and help them maintain their independence. Caregiver Training - Safety training on home safety, avoiding injury and falls, being careful in the kitchen, cleaning safety, outdoor safety hazards, disease protection and prevention, recognizing signs of abuse. Training on emergency situations including falls and fractures and sudden illness, tips on how to communicate with persons of dementia or Alzheimer's, understanding the aging process, isolation and depression in seniors, caregiver stress, light exercises for elders. Life enrichment activity training including memory kindling, focused-mind activities for older adults such as puzzles, coloring, gardening, crafts and hobbies, and community participation through senior centers, public spaces, outings, errands, worship services.
