About Senior Helpers Boston/south Shore

Senior Helpers Boston/South Shore At Senior Helpers Boston and South Shore we advocate for aging in place, wherever that “place” happens to be. The evolving breadth of our services reflect the increasingly complex needs of our elders. Yet our mission is extraordinarily simple: deliver personalized services through exceptionally trained case managers and caregivers. We appreciate your consideration for your needs and the care of loved ones. My agency has grown because we have a simple rule. If it is not the right answer for my parents, it is not the right answer for anyone else’s parents either. In the Fall of 2019 we signed a veterans care agreement with the Veterans Administration so we could provide personal care and helping hand support are available to eligible veterans in all the towns and communities we serve -- enabling all enrolled Veterans who meet the clinical need for service, to receive care and comfort when they need it most. This has shaped the way we approach everything we do: from a decision to have nurse case managers, to staffing only Certified Nursing Assistants and Home Health Aides as caregivers. It has driven the introduction of our proprietary LiFE Profile, (Li=Lifestyle, F= Feasibility , E= Evaluation assessment) which assesses your individual risks, so we can partner with you and your system of care to give you the best foundation for success.

Tips for Evaluating Your Options

Safety is a primary concern when seniors and their families look for Seniorsite Living. To ensure that a community meets your needs and expectations, we recommend that seniors and family members:

  • Tour the location

Touring allows you to speak to current residents and staff, and helps you confirm the accuracy of the community description and photos. Use our touring checklist to help guide your visit.

  • Confirm the availability of required services

Before you commit, make sure that the community offers all the services your senior needs, and that those services can be provided within your budget.

  • Know the California regulations for living type

Each state has its own laws and inspections processes to ensure seniors reside in a safe environment. Depending on your state, you may even be able to look up inspection reports for the community(ies) you're considering.
