Frustrated by the lack of time she was able to spend with the seniors she served, she and her husband Ed decided to open their own Seniors Helping Seniors in-home services. We are now able to provide intimate one-on-one care to our community seniors throughout Anderson, Roane and North & West Knox counties, said Lois. Lois was disappointed when her work in the nursing home didn't allow her to spend significant time with each senior. By choosing to work with Seniors Helping Seniors in-home services, Lois now has the time to foster great relationships and give seniors the services at home care they truly need, said Ed. Lois also knew that many of the people she cared for would benefit more from care in their own homes. With Seniors Helping Seniors in-home services, seniors who need some assistance get just that. They can feel comfortable and confident because Seniors Helping Seniors providers offer peer-to peer senior care that is about so much more than just getting a task done. It's about seniors who want to help giving back to their own community by giving compassionate care and companionship to other seniors. Ed and Lois have been married for 36 years. Together they are very active in their community and church. Combined they have served as board members for the Anderson County Chamber of Commerce, the Knoxville Montessori School and the Family business Institute of East Tennessee.
