At The Lodge of Ashworth, we provide services like meal preparation, home maintenance, and housekeeping, as well as scheduled transportation and activities. As a Lodge member, you can rely on this support, and focus your energies on doing what you love, whether that’s spending time with friends and family, devoting your attention to a hobby, or discovering new passions. Aging in place is a concept developed through long-range studies that examine successful aging. There are multiple dimensions of whole-person wellness, including physical, emotional, social, spiritual, intellectual, and vocational. At the Lodge of Ashworth, we offer care and service designed to support all dimensions of aging. What is Aging in Place? Our in-house Caring Solutions staff works with our members to create a lifestyle that reinforces: Physical Wellness, through regular health screens, fitness classes, and recreational activities like walking clubs. Emotional Wellness, with seminars on stress management and plenty of opportunity for laughter and sharing. Social Wellness, through formal and informal gatherings and celebrations, and an atmosphere of friendliness and concern. Spiritual Wellness, in an environment that respects different faiths and belief systems. Intellectual Wellness, with opportunities to learn about current affairs or world events with guest lecturers and gain perspectives and insights from other members of book clubs or discussion groups.
